Many health facilities receive licensure through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Many transactions involving either the corporate restructuring or acquisition of health care facilities licensed by the FCC require prior transaction approval by the FCC.
Murer Recommends: Submit the requisite filings required to obtain FCC transaction approval at least 45-60 days prior to the effective date of the transaction.
