At its most recent Board meeting in New York, Cherilyn G. Murer was unanimously elected the Chair of the Health Services Committee and a Member of the Executive Committee for the Lebanese American University (“LAU”), chartered by the New York Board of Regents as an American University. LAU has five campuses with primary sites in Beirut and Byblos, as well as its New York Headquarters and Academic Center. There are seven schools within the University including: Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Business, Architecture and Design, Nursing, Pharmacy and the Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine.

Ms. Murer recently facilitated the organizational restructuring and enhancement of the Hospital’s operations.
Ms. Murer also used her expertise in helping to execute an affiliation agreement between LAU and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.
