Cherilyn Murer Elected Chairman of the Buck Institute International Advisory Council
On May 22 – 23, 2016, President and CEO of Murer Consultants, Inc., Cherilyn G. Murer, attended the bi-annual Buck Advisory Council Meeting in Novato, California. During this meeting, Ms. Murer was elected as Chairman of the Buck Advisory Council. In addition to her new position as Chairman, Ms. Murer continues to serve on the Board of Trustees, as well as the Finance Committee for the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.
At the Spring meeting, Ms. Murer also participated in panel discussions with global experts on aging, disease, and healthcare, while gaining insight to recent research developments at the Buck Institute.
The Buck Advisory Council was founded in 2010 and is comprised of a diverse group of individuals from around the world including leaders in government, business, finance, pharmaceuticals, law, philanthropy, and other fields. The Buck Advisory Council provides valuable guidance to the Buck Institute on strategic priorities while serving as ambassadors to raise the visibility of the Institute’s achievements and set the pace for philanthropy at the Institute.
